Would however have some major challenges around security as Xbox OS on the console is pretty locked down. Microsoft would prefer offering “classic” Xbox games through streaming.

Please stop this. The whole idea of Notepad was that it didn’t do formatting. Responsive, fast startup. Always available. A safe haven to copy/paste *plain text*. Admittedly, I like the tabs. But for additional features we can use VSCode or some other fancy editor.
