Our first real boss, Abaddon! It can be quite tough for the first boss, having both melee and ranged attacks while gaining a lightning form halfway. I found it best to parry the melee attacks mid combo and dodge the range attacks

I’d definitely recommend this game though. It can be pretty difficult at times but that’s how all Soulslike games are. Also recommend watching lore videos since there’s so much going on that you’ll never know just by playing. Lastly, gets an 8.5 out of 10 for me.

Overall, I enjoyed this game. It looks good and feels good to play. The combat is the funnest part but I do wish there were more rpg elements instead of just unlocking more combat abilities and skills. Stats can be increased but they’re very minimal.

Things I disliked: you deal very little damage most of the time. Not an rpg where you level to make stat builds so you won’t always feel that progression. Takes forever to get new equipment so build variety is lacking. Story can be confusing because it’s told in riddles. Way too much lore reading.

Things I liked: environments, animation, and graphics are top notch. The story can be a bit confusing at times but there is a ton of lore. Gameplay is very fun. Music is pretty good. Lots to explore and a hidden area in each chapter. Many spells and skills to choose from.

After 38:03 hours, Wukong comes to an end! This is a difficult Soulslike game based on the Chinese classic, Journey to the West. As the Destined One, you go on a journey to reclaim Wukong’s six relics, meeting many foes and allies alike.

Final boss! This is the best fight in the game as you fight Wukong’s shell. He uses all the attacks that you do, even the big ones. The only thing I didn’t like is that he has two health bars so you’re not able to fully focus everything into one fight.

We finally face Erlang! He’s the toughest boss thus far with a HUGE amount of health and a shield bar that regenerates overtime. Really have to utilize everything for this fight.
