Neverway free demo is available on Steam now
Went into the Neverway demo because of its gorgeous art style, and I left knowing there's way more to this game then I can even imagine. Give the demo a try for yourself!

Hope Steam will actually continue to update the conversion values with updated datasets this time. Don't leave people hanging again.
Steam updated their regional pricing model, adding additional methods: Purchasing Power and Multi-variable Conversion. The other methods fixes the previous regional pricing problems I've seen from china/poland conversions. Big win for developers!

hands down my best investment was that I bought a PS5 at launch. 😅
There's some sauce here for sure, hope you continue exploring it.
There is a massive disconnect between the indie games community and the technoloy industry at large, Paul - the disconnect being that indies try to make games and a large part of the technology sector makes disposable startups to flip as much VC money as possible at the expense of everything.
Microsoft's next quarterly report: "we've seen an uptick in Copilot installs, stonks up" 📈
Maybe what this means is in the future we will see games made either faster, cheaper, reduced scope or some combination so that it doesn't need as many copies sold on the PS console to make back a return. Otherwise, they'll continue to be financially strained in their first party production.
Haven't seen this widely discussed, but PlayStation was initially "forced" to do PC porting because their games were taking too long and costing too much compared to its console game sales. Now that they are scaling PC ports back, it doesn't seem like it has solved that previous problem.
Can't believe it took me this long to get onto nature documentaries. Shout out to Planet Earth 😍
Seems like a logical step to make after gathering more than five years worth of data on porting games to PC. I do hope that Sony won't abandon Nixxes since they were acquired for their PC porting abilities. They can do work in other aspects for the PS Studios while between the few PC ports planned.
Potential PS owners loss of immediate purchase to wait for PC (big if) + brand value lost told them the old model was better in their eyes. Definitely not a hard science but one I can agree on if that's the case.
Might not matter in console sales like you said but maybe the metric is on brand value + potential PS game sales vs PC games sales. They've clearly done the PC experiment over the past 5 years they have the hard data, it's possible seeing the fall off of PC sales to porting cost, juxtaposed with...
RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike key art
5. RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike: Name says it all. It's pure nostalgia dopamine for me, but without actually needing to spend any real life money and it's more fun! Also, can you believe it's the same publisher for Balatro, how do they keep finding these games!

The Witch's Bakery Key Art
4. The Witch's Bakery: You're a witch, a baker and a healer of hearts. Get immersed in this world with its pretty hand drawn art style and Kiki's Delivery Service influences.

Gambonanza key art
3. Gambonanza: Balatro meets Chess, quite literally. I like Balatro, I like Chess, enough said.

Key art for Vampire Crawlers
2. Vampire Crawlers: from the makers of Vampire Survivors, comes a game in the same universe turned dungeon crawler deckbuilder, utilizing all the same charm and addicting formula from the Survivor game. Looks to be another hit.

Key art for Momento
#SteamNextFest Feb 2026 games I've played 🧵
1. Momento: Cozy room decorator like Unpacking, but you get some decorative choices that adds flare and adds additional story implications as you play out the course of your life. There's also a creative room to decorate your own room to how you like it.
Scrolling through Next Fest demos, and the amount of AI key art is insane
and of course, the store pages make no reference to AI being used
cool cool cool
Just downloaded 8 #SteamNextFest demos! Any good recommends? 👀
New: A comedian set up a fake ICE tip line as a joke. Then 100 calls flooded in: neighbors ratting on neighbors, a teacher reporting a kindergartener. Fans say the viral TikToks revealed deportation's "banality of evil." Conservatives say he should be in prison wapo.st/4kM4qbF

That's crazy
Following yesterday's stock plunge, Ubisoft's market cap is now around half a billion euros. In 2018 it was around 10 billion euros. In eight years, the company has lost around 95% of its value
Miss the days when the billionaire class would at least try to convince you they were good by funding for public infrastructure and such.
