You don’t want to know how often indivisible is crediting with creating us, or we get blamed for their stances or them for ours.
We’re partners and we love working with them! But we’re not the same group, & it’s really annoying lol

Oh there’s 100% a fair point about content focus, because of our alignment being kinda disparate (both bigger tent, but also simultaneously more edgy/left/…vaguely millennial coded?), & tbh there’s been a few times where it’s like “is this valid” but we’ve reposted much wilder stuff than Gender
There’s real overlap, but they’re different. Indivisible is a wonderful group founded by Ezra & Leah, that’s somewhat decentralized.
We’re lefter, more decentralized (a lot vaguer), & more rapid response/mutual aid focused. Some chapters of Indiviisble are also 50501, tho. I’d say follow both?
Sounds good. That, I guess, explains why 50501 has a variety of content.
Points taken. Are you thinking I should follow this instead? The 50501 account was shared with me months ago, and I've generally heard both 50501 and Indivisible used synonymously. bsky.app/profile/indi...
the Indivisible guy blocked me because I criticized him for using the official 50501 account to repost his personal takes
takes that, for the record, I like
I had some leftover larger size that I use to protect the propane hose
One of the annoying things is there is a secret killer out there which we know has terrible associated health effects even though its near undetectable by human senses.
But it's not infrasound, or em waves, or even nuclear radiation.
It's air pollution, and people barely give a fuck about it.
You either live in Chicago or you're doing something in the garage
Screenshot showing the repost. You can see I liked the post.
i have my own kids (about 10) and i still get weak when i play with a toddler!
"men don't gush over cute kids" is like the most insane thing I've ever read
I agree with this post, but I have no idea why Indivisible is reposting this, other than Hunter running their account
50501 needs some discipline, cmon, keep the eyes on the orange ball
chillers, generators, and fans are all 100+ year old technologies used across pretty much every industrial sector. they are also the parts of datacenters that make low frequency noise!
you must choose
reading through this rebuttal, my #1 thought is for the welfare and health of Benn and his followers.
And right on abstract: "Key findings indicate that infrasound enhances bone growth and osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow stem cells, significantly accelerating fracture healing by increasing bone mineral density"
Chat...is healing bad?
also: datacenter infrasound comes from chillers, fans, and (sometimes) generators. is the claim that these 100 year old technologies, which are employed at any significant industrial facility, have completely unknown health effects?
ok but if infrasound were even a tiny bit harmful, data center employees who are exposed to many orders of magnitude more infrasound would be starting to have health problems?
just as real as cell phone radiation, wifi signals, and high voltage power lines
a thing that exists and has meaningless health impact
like to add ® and ’ any time I submit online forms because I know that some developer is going to see it and wonder if they have a bug
This reads like a parody, but nope it's a real LinkedIn post
this is Michael Jackson's son?
true story, a big vp at el goog said g+ required real names because they didn't want people named "dog fart"
and then we all learned what happens if you google dogfart
cheers to the new meaning.
"openness to experience" but what if you're not open to missing a flight
I think you might be right. It's like arguing with Stochastic Parrots (the paper, as if it could talk and reiterate its arguments).
It would be like arguing with Bender if she actually stood by her paper instead of ad hominem and tone critique.
the dream of every software engineer is to boil the ocean, alas
More seriously: I can't tell if she is a world class troll, or just in the top 0.001% of "loves to argue for sport"
