The Westminster Labour Government have pledged £22 Billion for carbon capture projects in England, but nothing for the Scottish Acorn project.
Scotland will always be an afterthought for Westminster Governments - it’s time for independence.
Earlier this week I visited the University of Aberdeen to have discussions about mental health services for students in our city.
A fruitful meeting, which I hope will lead to more co-operation between wellbeing services in our city.
A New Direction for Labour - debate on Scottish budget focusing on child poverty and only FOUR Labour MSP's. It would appear the subject is of no importance to Labour in Scotland!
“I don’t like external interference in Scotland’s politics, whether it comes from London, or the United States, or anywhere else.
“I believe that the politics of our country should be determined by the people who choose to live in this country www.thenational.scot/news/2483563...
The Scottish Government’s budget has allocated £768 million for affordable housing.
Since 2007 the SNP has delivered more affordable housing per head of population than England or Wales.
#ProgressForScotland 🏴
Labour change for the worse:-
🧊 Cutting winter fuel payments
🔪 Betraying WASPI women
⚡️ Raising your energy costs
Westminster isn’t working for Scotland, it’s time for independence. 🏴
Labour have chucked yer Granny aff a bus with:-
🧊 Cuts to Winter Fuel Payments
💴 No compensation for WASPI women
⚡️ Higher energy bills
Labour promised change, unfortunately it’s for the worse.
It’s time for independence. 🏴
Never forget that this year the Labour Government gave the king a £45 million pay rise while at the same time cut Winter Fuel Payments to millions of pensioners.
This is Labour’s Broken Brexit Britain.
It’s time for independence. 🏴

This afternoon I had the pleasure of visiting Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s Haematology Service.
I was very pleased to meet cancer nurse specialists Laura & Fiona, who recently won an award for their work from Myeloma UK.
I’d also like to thank charge nurse Louise for the tour.
The Labour Government will not pay WASPI women any compensation.
Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall said the proposed payments weren't 'fair or value for taxpayer money'.
What is not fair are the false promises made by Labour politicians, who have betrayed the WASPI women.
Labour confirmed they will not compensate WASPI women.
Labour have betrayed pensioners once again.
Labour liars who pledged to find a fair solution have instead stabbed the WASPI women in the back.
🥀 Another week of Labour in power, another promise broken.
First the UK Labour government have cut winter heating payments for pensioners, and now they’re denying WASPI women what they’re due.
Quite simply, this is a betrayal.
📢 Labour promised the WASPI women they would help deliver justice.
🥀 Now they've entered government, they turned their back on them and have refused to deliver justice.
🤝 The SNP will continue to fight and campaign for the WASPI women to receive the justice they deserve.
I welcome the £768 million that has been allocated for affordable homes by your SNP Government.
A record £21 Billion will be invested in our NHS & social care services, including resources to reduce waiting times & increase GP appointments.
Absolutely delighted that Cabinet Secretary, Shona Robison has proposed the scrapping of the horrific two child benefit cap in Scotland’s budget.
This will lift 15,000 children out of poverty if the budget is passed.
Welcome news for Aberdeen in the budget.
Raising tax thresholds by 3.5% will keep more money in people’s pockets.
A record £15 Billion for local government was announced in today’s budget.
Labour cut winter fuel payments, the SNP will fix this travesty.
Pleased that valued institutions like the University of Aberdeen will benefit from a share of the £2 Billion that has been allocated for higher and further education in the budget.
I joined Councillor Hazel Cameron in a meeting with Chief Inspector Darren Bruce to discuss policing in Stockethill & Cornhill.
I’m pleased that the level of calls in the area have reduced, but we will continue to work together to reduce anti-social behaviour.
I have written to the Prime Minister to urge him to follow your SNP Scottish Government’s principled lead to scrap the two child benefit cap in order to reduce child poverty.
