The Westminster Labour Government have pledged £22 Billion for carbon capture projects in England, but nothing for the Scottish Acorn project.

This afternoon I had the pleasure of visiting Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s Haematology Service.

I was very pleased to meet cancer nurse specialists Laura & Fiona, who recently won an award for their work from Myeloma UK.

I’d also like to thank charge nurse Louise for the tour.

The Labour Government will not pay WASPI women any compensation.

A record £21 Billion will be invested in our NHS & social care services, including resources to reduce waiting times & increase GP appointments.

Absolutely delighted that Cabinet Secretary, Shona Robison has proposed the scrapping of the horrific two child benefit cap in Scotland’s budget.

This will lift 15,000 children out of poverty if the budget is passed.

Welcome news for Aberdeen in the budget.

Raising tax thresholds by 3.5% will keep more money in people’s pockets.

A record £15 Billion for local government was announced in today’s budget.

Labour cut winter fuel payments, the SNP will fix this travesty.

Pleased that valued institutions like the University of Aberdeen will benefit from a share of the £2 Billion that has been allocated for higher and further education in the budget.

I joined Councillor Hazel Cameron in a meeting with Chief Inspector Darren Bruce to discuss policing in Stockethill & Cornhill.

I’m pleased that the level of calls in the area have reduced, but we will continue to work together to reduce anti-social behaviour.

I have written to the Prime Minister to urge him to follow your SNP Scottish Government’s principled lead to scrap the two child benefit cap in order to reduce child poverty.
