I have 3 milking, 2 springing and 2 heifers. At my heyday, my herd of holsteins was over 300, milking around 200 three times a day. I had 2 Brown Swiss as pets, and I milked them by hand. They are gentle giants. My husband and I built our herd from our 4H projects.I milk now because I want to.
