Clover & Wing
Spring always begins with small signs.
A snowdrop pushing through frost.
A rabbit crossing the field.
The call of the red-winged blackbird.

This hex sign was created as a quiet charm for abundance, balance, and protection. Stars guide, waves return what was given, and luck is held from dusk to dawn.

The first batch of Chex Mix is tucked into the oven, warm spices mingling in the air. The kitchen hums with anticipation—let the holiday season officially begin. 🎄✨
Snow whispers its arrival—perhaps tomorrow, surely by Monday. I’ve spent the week tucking 250–300 little dreams beneath the earth, planting bulbs in snug clusters of five. Hidden treasures, heirloom and antique, waiting for their cue. 🌱✨🌷

I told myself at least twice today to disconnect the garden hose — another cold night ahead. Of course, I remembered only after I’d already drifted off to sleep. So yes, that was me out there in my cozy jammies under the stars, saving the hose from the frost.
app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/36ac... read in one day! Whoosh 55 for 2025. And that is the earliest I’ve finished my yearly book challenge!
Dusk drifts in on soft pink and rosey skies, brushing the horizon with a final glow. The burning bushes, once ablaze in scarlet, are already fading—whispering that October has truly arrived. The air carries a hush, a tender turning of the seasons, as the garden tucks itself in for autumn’s embrace.

Note to self: you’re not 20 anymore. I could do this in a weekend back in the day. Tomorrow, finish sealing. #checkerboard #homedecor #paintedfloor
An hour well spent tucking everyone in the greenhouse, covering the garden beds with care as the frost threatens. Seasonal rituals— fingers crossed for a happy unwrapping. #garden #ny
I think Pizza Hut should come back and have adult book club nights with a buffet. And when we read 50 books we get a pizza. Why do kids have all the fun?
The world is in chaos but Mother Nature is here to calm my frayed nerves. #garden #springblooms #robins

Happy Spring! Sharing my new spring card. Did you know the tradition of dyeing Easter eggs has ancient roots in the folklore of Ostara? 🐇🌷 I've been working on this card for weeks. I hope you enjoy it. elizabethgleason.com/product/the-... #Ostara #EasterMagic #SpringEquinox #HandmadeCards
Somedays you wake up and know you need to make some handpainted ceramic folk birds maybe for a garland or just individual or maybe a wind chime. So you hand draw some birds on some heavy stock paper for some templates. #creative #inspiration #birds

Egads, I don't ship internationally all the time. It takes one and a half hours to wrap and ship the package. Note to self: It's time to set up a section for all my shipping supplies. Anywhoooo. Colleen Winchester Prints are now available. elizabethgleason.com/product/coll... #OilPainting #Painting
When I help - I don’t rape the person’s land on my way out. Call me old school but I believe in doing the right thing because it’s the right thing. Imagine that?
Another snowy day… time to work on me bunny studies
I’m craving some spring.

Henry and I are doing a little reading - A Brush With Birds by Richard Weatherly. The weather today is too icy to play outside day. We’re working on projects in the studio, planning this year’s garden and getting some chores done.
