On Wednesday we went to Home Acres Church, and were able to share a meal, and get letters signed, envelopes addressed and stuffed for the encouragement of over 180+ penpals.

We received a $50 donation - sent to us through the MDofC; one of our pen pals on the inside sent it! I told him I would challenge our supporters to do so. Note your donation to match our his. We'll let him know it was donated by his generosity! tangiblehopeministries.org/donate/

Black History Month Spotlight: Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison — but prison did not define him. It developed him.

He chose growth over bitterness, discipline over despair, and forgiveness over revenge. When he walked free, he carried purpose, not anger.

Your current situation is not your final destination. Time can build you, not break you.

This Black History Month, we remember: even behind bars, hope, leadership, and transformation are possible.

[hand decorated Christmas card] Merry Christmas! 12/2025 Paula, I'm Praying for you and the rest of the CFP staff this Holiday season. May the Lord fill your hearts with love, peace and joy! Thank you not forgetting about everyone on the inside! your friend,

This is one of the many homemade Christmas cards we receive from inmates all over the country. We think we encourage them, but our team finds so often that the opposite is true. One card, one letter can make all the difference in one life!

Happy Thanksgiving Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians 5:18 [on a golden background with leaves and wheat]

We give thanks
to God for the chance to do this
to our volunteers and people that help
to the churches that partner with us
to the participants who join us
for those we write, unable to join families
We pray that in all things, you find reasons to be thankful this season.
