That being said…does “fun” alone have a cultural impact? I think not. If we’re going by that metric, the B-52’s would have been granted the honor years ago. I love KISS but they don’t deserve this honor. Enjoy the music, but I can’t find a “cultural impact” argument persuasive. 3/3

End of rant.

I love KISS; been a fan since I first heard “Dressed To Kill”. They possessed limited musical abilities (exception: Ace), rudimentary writing skill, and we won’t even discuss their lyrical acumen. However, they were fun. I never dismiss music based on a “fun” quotient. 2/3
