It might be *too* perfect.
I’d destroy it immediately.

Hoping for more lapidary Taylor songs someday.
And what’s this I missed with the voting for OoTW?
Oh. I mean, Style. Hands down
This is a map on the N. Minnesota border. The green is the BWCA. Colored cubes are mining leases. But the entire outline is the watershed. Notice the leases inside that line. So, yes. There are effectively mines proposed inside the BWCA
Kinda amazing to see someone miss the target here so badly.
ALSO not one word from Klobuchar about the bill overturning the mining ban in the wilderness last week.
So glad you’re keeping your eye on the ball here

I have meds now. I love my meds.
He was scared and wouldn’t come down until we left. But he also wanted to see if our trash can was ok. Just to check it out.

An anxiety disorder is why I had to quit teaching
A young Pete Stauber would later go on to perform the same literal moving-of-the-goalposts to sell out Minnesota’s wilderness to exploitive executive extraction and extortion. Evil.
I've been driving around reeeeaaallly easy and slow lately
Sorry to be so pessimistic. I don't see this being solved in the courts. I honestly think this is going to be a decades long fight to keep mining out of the BWCA.
And surely you know turmp won't veto this. It's all part of the "critical minerals" grift.
Overturning the mining ban in Mn is actually a much bigger news story here
Heartbreaking loss today
It’s over. We lost.
Unbelievable. It passed 50-49
What a shameful, heartbreaking loss
Oh hi
In this moment the house is voting on HJ res. 140. A bill that would overturn protections against mining in an area of northern Minnesota that is a treasured wilderness. The BWCA but also the surrounding Superior National forest.
The quietest shattering
Ah. Of course. Thanks for making me feel not left out!
The shattered ribs comment really gets me. Sharks don’t have bones
