I am constantly boggled by people's smart phone habits. Long ago when i first started getting phone notifications, i was like 'Wow that's annoying!" and turned it straight off and thus have NEVER had this problem

I had started this project about a decade ago, got one episode done and was working on this when life pulled me away from the project and i was simply never able to get back to it.

it was a big passion project at the time though and i miss working on stuff like this

I really like the "Sky Layer" in this one, the clouds / overcast look over the distant mountains is great, but i think the nearby forest / cliff face aren't. the size of the trees makes things seem way too small, too

But this was my first try at this kind of environment!!

I drew this ages ago and its still one of the most detailed things I've ever done!
I wound up going with the red warm lighting version but I think nowadays I'm more partial to the more desaturated yellow/blue

I weirdly just started out doing backgrounds. Drawing trees and mountains as a kid!

Everyone else was always drawing characters and people, but i had to pick up that skill much later and still don't think i'm very good!!

Some more older art i've done! Lots of experimental stuff going on in both, the castle tower I had never tried drawing snow before!

I managed to crack through to a nearby church to help with my food, but it won't much matter if I don't stave off this impending eviction. I don't have a car, I have nobody to go to, no family, it's a long story how I'm even so isolated.
I'm terrified of disappearing

I've taken on freelance work over the months, I know I do good work, but everything has turned into guilt. Guilt and dread and doubt. A year ago this stuff was no problem, now It's overwhelming, and crushing, and I can't afford the luxury of a therapist.
