If anyone's trying Decker for the first time and finding it tricky, I will plug the excellent Phinxel's Field Notes ahmwma.itch.io/phield-notes
Decker has a little bit of a learning curve, it's essentially hypercard made for the modern era, if folks have any nostalgia for that.
But the nice thing is the program is free. And the template allows for a digital and a print format.
I made a zine about cancel culture because I was thinking some thoughts that were very loud.

I made this as part of @milliesquilly.com's Hybrid Decker Zine Jam.

You should make one! It's free! And fun!
Mint yoghurt! My bad.
OH YEAH. If you are an American and want to try what I think is the better version of a reese's cup? Whittakers Peanut Slab. Which is a kiwi bar, and harder to justify since it went over $2 in price. But is just a solid piece of high quality chocolate packed with peanuts. Enough, not excessive.
There are apparently two places in Canberra that stock these pies, so... that's good to know. Chifley and Spence Grocers for those around here. No idea what the selection is like. Just know the quality.
10/10. If you're in Australia on the south coast and you want to see what the best of meat pies have to offer. Even if you're vego (I didn't get the vegan read sorry). Tonnes of gourmet options, and they all freaking slap.
The second was a Jamaican Goat Curry. (It's a bit of a trip from my folks to Ulladulla, so it's usually a pie for lunch and a take home for dinner). Incredible flavour, the goat was so tender, I freaking love goat. The curry had such a clean heat to it, kicked my ass, but incredible flavours.
Their special over Easter was a Rabbit pie. Had to try that and the flavour was good, I'm not saying it tasted like chicken, but it did taste like gamey, dry, bird of some kind. Didn't hate it, glad I tried it, the pie was distinguished by a pastry rabbit head on top that made me laugh? Good times.
In other "Cody put this weird thing in your mouth" news. Took a trip to Ulladulla for Hayden's pies. Probably the best meat pie shop I've been? Last time I think I got the Woolly Jumper, a lamb and kangaroo pie that was great. And a butter chicken pie with mint sauce which is the best I've ever had.
Like ET knew what was up. I don't have a lot of positive things to say about ET, but it knew it's candy.
What I did get to try today, for the first time because they were on special. Reese's pieces. And good god damn. Crispy M&M's are usually my favourite, especially when they're doing a mint limited edition? Reese's pieces are at least as good. They've got a proper depth of flavour that really hit me.
A Reese's Caramel Big Cup. A larger Reese's cup with a layer of caramel below the peanut butter.
I think it's a bit of a texture thing, the chocolate is waxy and oversweet, the peanut butter is kind of dry. The flavour is there. But it took the Reese's Caramel Big Cup to sell me on why I should care. And damn. These things are absolutely delicious.
I guess this is a Cody vs American Food post? Chocolate and peanut butter has always been a combination that's been available. But it's really only been in recent years that Reese's has been available. It's a bit of a mixed bag, they're good, I don't love em.
enough with moral panics, let's have immoral panics
maybe daycare centres are actually insufficiently satanic!
I LOVE THIS FUCKING GAME. Give us a remaster losers.
(I know the legal background, frankly make the damn game and let the corporates overpay their lawyers to figure that shit out)
I should listen to more Linkin Park.
There is exactly no universe where this is fair or normal practice, even in today's world.
If the contract was signed, that makes no fucking sense. Def take it to ACAT or VCAT or whatever is the appropriate body.
Wouldn't be how I branded the company, but it's not in any way hyperbole. They make the best peanut butter, bar none, they make the best peanut brittle. These are just plain truths.
Like honestly this is peanut brittle so good I want to dunk on nut allergies. Hah! loser!
