That's what I'm saying!!!
It's not even the ugliest building in the city. Anyone who says it is has obviously not seen the Orange Hub.
Debate incoming!!!
It's part of the whole "prairie province" think that lumps us with Saskatchewan and Manitoba, which both also feature vast boreal forests ... Plus we have the Rockies ...
It was so eloquent until that typo. Frick sake.
Anyway #Edmontonin2030 because the only way to understand it is to be here.
You see it in the politics here, in the way we have a top-5 in Canada university and thriving blue collar jobs; the boom and bust of resources; the deep Indigenous roots and the way our colonial history dictate out future.
It's a pet peeve of me (Rebecca, the main character behind this official account). People are shaped by the places we live, and we aren't a prairie people.
You are correct. However, most people will say we're on the prairie. We most certainly are NOT. Aspen parkland, as you can see, is a small area. You could as easily suggest we are in the boreal forest as the prairie.
Have to say we approve of John's t-shirt!
I cannot BELIEVE I forgot them.
Oh my god, the Cylons. I cannot I forgot them.
Oops
Okay who'd I miss?
In 2025, we have ANOTHER DOCTOR WHO REGENERATION!
In 2023, the Fourteenth Doctor regenerated as the Fifteenth but also stayed alive as the Fourteenth so I'm REALLY not sure if this counts.
2022 brings us back to Doctor Who, when the Thirteenth Doctor turned back into the Tenth Doctor. I mean the Fourteenth Doctor.
It seems that both Neo AND Trinity were Resurrected in 2021, in The Matrix Resurrections.
In 2019, Emperor Palpatine returns from the dead! This time it's a clone AND a transfer of consciousness. Neat.
Peter Capaldi regenerates into the next Doctor in Doctor Who
2017. The Doctor regenerates into a woman for the first time.
Let's take a break from Doctors and share this (non-comprehensive) list of several other Doctor Who characters who resurrected: www.cbr.com/doctor-who-c...
The Eleventh Doctor (Doctor Who) regenerates
In 2013 we have the tenth Doctor as well as Doctor Who (when we go back in time and see the Eighth Doctor regenerate into the War Doctor)
The tenth Doctor (Doctor Who) regenerates
Then we have Doctor Who (2010)
The ninth Doctor (Doctor Who) regenerates
2005: Doctor Who
Now this was the first Doctor Who series I ever watched, and didn't know the lore, and to say I was DEVASTATED by this is an understatement.
Screenshot from Alien: Resurrection showing Ripley growing as a clone, with the text ALIEN RESURRECTION superimposed
Next is Ellen Ripley, in 1997, in Alien: Resurrection.
So if a clone counts as a resurrection, so do the Doctor's regenerations.
The Seventh Doctor (Doctor Who) regenerates
The next notable resurrection we have in scifi would be The Doctor (1996). I know what you're thinking, is this really a resurrection? Do the Doctors actually die and come back to life? I ... don't know. I just think this is funny.
The sixth Doctor (Doctor Who) regenerates
And The Doctor (1987)
The fifth Doctor regenerates (Doctor Who)
Also, The Doctor (1984)
The fourth Doctor (Doctor Who) regenerates
Then, The Doctor (1981)
The third Doctor (Doctor Who)
And, The Doctor (1974)
