Scream 2, 4 stars.

Going through a backlog of films I wasn’t allowed to watch growing up. Today was Scream 2. Not quite as good as the first, but I like how they’re aware of that.

Realised a good amount of my music taste is down to watching Scooby Doo

100 pages down in the book that isn’t the one I’m showing to my writer’s group. I can’t read them this, it’s absolute filth!

I liked this, well written, pacing was good, sound was mixed a little weird in parts but that might have been down to the cinema. Go and see it if you get a chance though, it’s good.

How I’m entering 2026:

Finally reached the level of self esteem where I acknowledge I’m kinda cool and likeable, now I need to find out how to make friends in my 30s

I’ve been asked to write a *spicy* book, and this has also gone the direction of cryptids and cults and corporate satire, only everyone is now hot.

Merry crisis

Finished a game of Talisman in one sitting and people were only mildly bored annoyed at each other after 2 hours, I’m calling that a success

In other news I have written 18,000 words in the past week while avoiding responsibilities

I mean they have assumed for a while, considering how I dress and all that, but I felt it was time to be clear about things.

I've sent an email coming out as trans to my colleagues. I trust them but still, it's all anxiety and panic here.
