We report: lately, there is a lot of pink in the sky. It is the last bright colour we see in the evening, and the first one we see in the morning. It rains over it, today - not much, but it washes the pink off, and we watch it flow down the drains. It leaves a chill in the air.

Again, if a customer wants to ensure that their mailpiece receives a postmark, and that the date on the postmark aligns with the date of mailing, the customer may take the mailpiece to a Postal Service retail location and request a manual (local) postmark at the retail counter when tendering their mailpiece. The manual postmark will be applied free of charge.

For anyone mailing their #taxes today - take them to the post office, hand them to an employee, and ask for a manual postmark. Otherwise the USPS can't guarantee they'll be postmarked today.

I think I actually winced last week when the vet tech told me how much the visit would cost. My cat (perfectly healthy, as the $$$ blood work would show) was diagnosed with "prefers to eat wet food." But at least I know he's fine!
