I still would rather see you run as an Independent or under DSA. That being said, that's just me. Ultimately, you are going to what you feel is best. As of now, I can't support a minor party that no one has ever heard of until today. However, November is many months away.

I feel like running under the Independent ticket would pull more equally from both parties. Sounds like you're working more towards the creation of a new party, then becoming governor. Which, I wish you luck with.

What about running as a DSA candidate?

See, I knew I wasn't just imagining you running as an independent at first. If your campaign is struggling with getting the message of independent across, well that's just an internal problem.

Personally, if you're not going to run as a Democrat, I think you should run as an Independent.

Except, the Democratic party is not a house. It's one of the two major parties in the country. Before we can reform politics as a whole, we first need to reform a party. Similar to what Trump did with the GOP, but actually do good with it. You want an out of party resistance, I want an in party one.

When abandoning the Democratic party all together, yes. When fighting to change it, no. That's what I thought you were trying to do. I understand your reasoning for wanting to leave though. However, I'm for party reform. I therefore need someone to be in the party. #ChangeWillComeFromWithin
