The first of @caltechastro.bsky.social and DSA’s Science Fiction Film Series featured free screenings of “Interstellar” and “WALL-E”, each with a short intro on the real science behind the movies. The day also featured a visit to the 5th grade class in McGill. Thanks for joining us at the movies!

It’s been an exciting #AAS247 as the DSA was announced to be part of the Schmidt Observatory System and we can share that we are funded for construction by Schmidt Sciences! We are looking forward to opening up the dynamic radio sky to the worldwide astronomy community. 🔭
