Whoops, I just realized... I've been playing the Pokémon TCG for a year and a half now, and I haven't made a single post about it here.

I am now a Pokémon TCG Professor, league owner, and tournament manager.

Not if you know a few things:
- how to be patient (especially with coin-pushers),
- which games are entirely skill (yes they exist),
- how to beat those games consistently,
- and when to swoop in and grab a progressive jackpot on non-skill-based machines when they're ready!

I kept track, and while I haven't done an exact tally yet, I know I refilled my card 3 times at $110. I had a little to spare at the beginning too, so I estimate it took me about $350 to win it.

Definitely Mario Kart World, thinking about Kirby Air Riders as well. Also definitely playing @nitrome.bsky.social's Mouse Work when it comes out

I built up 89,100 tickets over the course of a few months. Most expensive prize they had, including a PS5 (79,000). It took diligence and willpower to save 'em up but it was worth it
