Here are three of my favorite Play to Lose games! These kinds of games are so fun and different. You can get all of these games through our website, link is in our bio. #ttrpg #ttrpgtok #indiegame #tabletopgames #storygame
I am once again begging TTRPG publishers to CREDIT YOUR FREELANCERS on crowdfunder pages.
FFS.
Honesty this is one thing (major thing? only?) that in my experience separates the legit intellectuals I’ve met from the posers & bullshit artists. If you’ve ever studied anything seriously, the main thing you’ve learned is that you *don’t know* so much more. Real ones know their work is never over
Did you know, when you have your own website, you can just write about anything you want and no one will stop you.
For example, if there're a bunch of clothing items you like, you can make a whole blog post about it.

I've uploaded all 20 form-fillable pregens to my Itch page. You can grab them as a single zip, which contains PDFs, PNGs, a template, etc.

I am floored to say that The Time We Have has been nominated for 5 categories in the indie groundbreakers!
Best Graphic Design
Best Art
Best Rules
Most Innovative
Game of the Year
Check out all the nominees! Honored to be among so many sick games
I stumbled across a games show in Kensington, and this game called THE MAGIC OF INVENTORYING (think Marie Kondo in a Dungeon) delighted me.
The gameplay is delightful, the art is unique and perfect, and yes, I backed the (incredibly reasonably priced) Kickstarter.
I mean that it feels like it needs book keeping to keep track of important minutiae. Pendragon's estate management for example.
I want a solo game that feels like spreadsheets and ROLL-play... In a good way. Anyone got suggestions?
“Work is rework” is not true in EVERY field, but it’s true in a lot of them, esp any that create things.
This is a hard lesson to learn, and is often one of the ways to identify a novice - they think the work is the work.
This is also why novices are easily impressed by bad AI creations.
the human made icon
I want to be a better steward for the Human Made icon. If you have any ideas on how I can get the word out for it more please let me know. Do you think game retailers would be interested in stickers they could pass out? folks interested in pins? What can I do to support you using this icon? a zine?

I'm clearing out my stock cupboards and using up spare bits, so there's a limited number of One Breath Left and Border Riding available at stoutstoat.co.uk 📚
I wish more folks understood the concept of stewardship as opposed to ownership.

Great game for sure!
I've always heard incredible things about TYOV! Maybe it's time I play it?
