IF YOU BUILD A BIKE LANE THAT DOESN'T CONNECT TO ANOTHER BIKE LANE THEN YOU DIDN'T BUILD A BIKE LANE
I want the names. Of every mane who visited the online ‘rape academy’. I want their next of kin. I want their place of work. I want their headshots on every billboard, I want them in the town square. Right where we can see them. I want them fearful. I want them second guessing every woman they know. I want them looking over their shoulders. Harried. Hurried. Nervous and afraid. I want their palms sweaty. Their breathing shallow. I want them to taste the fear that we have lived with for all out lives. I want them to wonder if their next step will be their last. Then, I’ll gently tell them that it’s not all women and we’ll see if that appeases them. If they sleep easier. If they can relax. Knowing that not all women want to drag a knife across their throat for what they’ve done. Only some. ~ salmaelwardany

Ocean warming weakens the sea–land breeze (SLB) in coastal megacities
The SLB, driven by thermal contrasts between sea and land, forms a key circulation system in coastal cities which mitigates urban heat islands, improves air quality and supports urban liveability.

I just checked, mine are at 7800 as well. There are 2 types of people in the workplace - the zero inbox people and the 1000s of unread emails. I made a decision that I could spend all day doing emails or I could actually get work done and just check email first thing and mid afternoon.
