Always heard it referred to in terms of the trade deadline. Certainly for hockey and baseball, which are the two North American (hello Canada!) sports I follow.

Ipswich Town have hard questions to answer after Nigel Farage PR disaster | Nick Ames Reform’s use of the football club has shocked fans and left the ownership red faced but how did it happen?

Politics and football don’t mix? Tell that to Ipswich’s players, who are not happy about Farage’s visit. What a mess, and many tough questions still to answer: www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Ipswich itself has had longer periods of labour MPs than Tory. The wider county is a surprising mix, even has a Green MP. Farage will target everywhere apart from big uni cities. That he's either been invited by ITFC or allowed to use it for political purposes is egregious. Butcher probably involved

It is difficult for sure, and easy for me to say when I am very much a hobbyist. These companies have proven they are not going to change out of the goodness of their hearts. As you once said to me - Bannockburn!

I guess I am shocked when I see some of the more politically active labels / artists that still have their music on spotify, for example.

How do things improve stuart? Those at the top are fine and music fans have access to all recorded music. No doubt it would be logistically pie in the sky to coordinate, artistically painful and for many contractually impossible, but should musicians withdraw their labour? Militancy!

Labour eh? Always taking the moral high ground.

This will be the only gig I play this year, so I’ve made sure it’s going to be a doozy & booked a bill that I can’t quite believe, it’s so good. Mark yr calendar! Tell yr pals!

We used a hamax kiss for years and never had any problems with it. Main thing is to be careful when you stop & get off as easy to forget everything is back heavy!

It is the same party whose MPs went on tv, the night Jo Cox was murdered by an actual fascist, to complain about social media abuse.
