Please do take five minutes to complain about this to the BBC (and it really does only take five minutes). And demand a reply. This is the big advantage of having a broadcaster funded in the way the BBC is funded. They are accountable to us and they have an obligation to explain themselves.

Amazing pics I was there 69 years ago, took this with my Braun Paxette.

@theghostmonk.bsky.social go on then, best MR James ? For me, best BBC dramatisation A view from a hill. Best story, Casting the runes. Night of the demon was an excellent dramatisation but I think a good director could really make an epic. Maybe Gatiss ?
Piano
It was a really good listen.
So refreshing hearing grown up music from Steve Lamacq on 6 music.
It's very nice. Hoppy but a bit sweet. Just like me ๐

@djdebgrant.bsky.social I'm a huge fan of your shows Deb however this morning I thought, what a fecking racket ๐๐๐ I'm probably getting too old. I think some of the bands are "creatively limited"
I know it costs an obscene amount of money but I think that the Artemis 2 project is mankind at its best & shows what we are capable of.

The pedantic poltergeist had me in fits of uncontrollable laughter. The diorama on the Enfield poltergeist was a stroke of genius from @richardlittler.bsky.social
Bit like wiganese that
@profaliceroberts.bsky.social so today is Palm Sunday. Yet another symbol "borrowed" from Rome. The list is endless. I never actually thought about it before.
Very disappointed with this Paddington the musical thing on itv. How in gods name did paddington voice change from Michael Hordern, to this nonsense accent.....
With fuel prices surging due to Americas tactical war strategies I think the only valid currency left which will sustain our wealth is first class stamps. Just remember you heard it here first.
When I hear of the Houthis I can't help thinking of "The northern alliance",๐ค
I do like Steve Lamacq. Currently listening to the music festival I hope he's in Manchester and not in that there London. I did have a word with m6 border patrol in knutsford to stamp his visa.
Friday night!!!
Just back from a "bracing" walk and cracked open a bottle of mulled wine!

Whoopee !!! Let's all celebrate and get legless .
@profaliceroberts.bsky.social clearing out mum's house this weekend. She's had to go into a care home. Very staunch Roman Catholic.Really interesting seeing her little icons, statues etc , some of which I purchased for her as a child. Exactly like the Romans with their personal shrines to their Gods
