The challenge always is to reach beyond that.

For THE PICKERS, we drove our refrigerated van with fairly picked oranges to the global headquarters of ALDI Süd in Salzburg to show them the film and talk about our campaign.

We've now gathered more than 1,000 signatures for our demand to offer 10 essential guarantees to migrant workers that pick our daily fruit and veg.

We've handed out fairly produced oranges to folks like @publiceye.ch and hosted screenings including the one @ethzurich.bsky.social as the Meet THE PICKERS Tour travelled across Switzerland 🍊

In Basel we met with our partners from Swiss Fair Trade hearing about their important work, including how we can safeguard and argue for legislation that effectively protects human rights.

We had another packed screening in a temple of good food, the Markthalle Basel.

During our time in Geneva The Meet THE PICKERS Tour has met key people and organisations working to eliminate the exploitation of migrant workers.

Who picks the food that feeds Europe? Campaign for ‘The Pickers’ announced on International Migrants Day

It was a special day today – International Migrants Day – to announce that we'll be producing an impact campaign around the film THE PICKERS in 2025. The documentary follows migrant workers in Europe who pick our daily fruit and veg – under precarious conditions.
