Closest I can think of is the Narrative Gundam A-Packs from Gundam NT. But that's more a sled with thrusters, rather than its legs.

I worked with someone this summer who had worked on Tron: Ares. She told me, after Jared's last scene wrapped, he said "I may have been going about this the wrong way." Pretty accurate, after watching it. (Though I thought the movie was fine, but I'm a big Tron nerd anyway.)
