Something I've been thinking about in #EnaDreamBbq, is that all the characters who claim to be the boss are the most hostile towards Ena, with a few exceptions. Most characters who dont try to claim they are the boss are the ones who are more friendly. Idk just something I noticed

Thats a good point. I guess I also don't understand why the ps5 sold so well. It didn't really have any sort of selling points to me.

I have both, and its definitely a similar experience. Both are pretty portable, both you have to set yourself up somewhere (even with the switch) and both have bad battery life :,)

Consoles have been competing with the pc market for a long time. It's hard to sell a machine that inherently does less. It's why console exclusives are even a thing. Typically, consoles are at least cheaper, but again, $450 is a hard sell. (Also yeah you can use a laptop on a tv with an hdmi cord)

Yeah but the Steam Deck is basically a computer. It can run a ton of emulators (that you dont have to pay for) and again, modding capabilities. I meantion that and laptops, because they are things a lot of people already have. (1/2)

Yes, but they didn't explain why you would play a game on switch 2, versus playing it on the Steam Deck, Playstation, etc.

Well, from what I've seen in my circles:
• What exactly is in the open world? We know there are missions and hidden collectibles, but what do those actually give you?
• Does the weather actually change anything about the courses?
• Crown City is in Grand Prix twice. Whats that about?

That being said, it looks fun to me. I think they have a lot of really fun and cool ideas here, but I can understand people being uneasy about it. There was barely any new information that wasn't in the switch 2 direct.

Like the mario kart direct kinda cemented to me that they lost the ability to actually answer questions that the consumer might be asking. It was basically them confirming that a bunch of features that they wouldn't get rid of anyways.

Ok so call me crazy. But I think we're going back down the Wii U path. Sequel to a console with, lets be honest, mediocre marketing, ridiculous price point, with the only draw being console exclusives? Nintendo once again got too comfortable with their success.
