A really interesting example of the depreciation of pay for mental health staff in universities outside of London. Just seen an advert for a role at a uni I worked at in 2010. Same job, more responsibility, and the pay advertised is £5 less than I got 14 years ago.

Art(s) psychotherapists are regulated by HCPC in the UK and so it always seems strange to me that the wider counselling profession doesnt see the benefits of this to patient safety and trust in practitioners as being regulated isnt a massive burden to me.

Had a great day in London with Student Minds and the Uni MH Charter assessors discussing insights, shaping our code of conduct, and sharing best practice. A lovely uplifting group of people, who are all so passionate about implementing change within Higher Education.
