This is the best political campaign of my lifetime. I don’t want to hear about Obama or anyone else. This is how you do it! This has to be the model!

Duolingo CEO on going AI-first: ‘I did not expect the blowback’ Luis von Ahn says criticism over strategy change shows ‘anxiety’ about technology replacing jobs

“I’m not going to claim CEOs are that special. It’s just somebody has to tell others . . . ‘This is where we’re going.’ And AI is not particularly good at that yet.”

AI can do everyone else’s job, but CEOs are just too important to automate. How convenient!

I'd rather have suicidal empathy than no heart at all. While the cruelty is the point for these ghouls, I still firmly believe there are more good people in the world than evil. I'm grateful to @charlieangus104.bsky.social for bringing light into these dark times & defending #ChildRights

In general we need to internalize the fact that bad faith actors never “have a point” because having a point isn’t the point.

There’s nothing better than some Elections 101 on an Easter morning right? Right?!

In all seriousness, I hopped onto @cbcradiocanada.bsky.social’s show Just Asking to talk about our electoral system. Check it out, and go vote!

One of them would say a name and the rest would be like “I agree” then PP would say “the lost Liberal decade under Justin Trudeau means I never got to meet a woman and that’s why Bill C-69 needs to be scrapped. Axe the Tax!”

How can he have a plan in the Middle East when he has no security clearance to get briefed?

He just said that Muslims bring foreign conflicts and target Jewish communities

I smell Islamophobia

I have said before, and I’ll say again — this is the least inspiring batch of federal leaders I could imagine. Just utterly useless (or worse). A horror show. #debate2025

This horrifying debate on crime is a great indicator of the complete capture of the public safety file by the CPC and media collaborators. It’s a joke. #Debate2025

I’ll say this too: a bunch of men arguing over who can impose pipelines on everyone is not inspiring! We deserve better!

Absolutely. I’m already rolling my eyes.

All Jails Fit to Build | The Brooklyn Rail “Borough-based” jails are nothing new in New York City. The original incarnation of Lower Manhattan’s notorious Tombs facility, opened in 1838, replaced the British colonial jail built before the Revo...

It gets even worse once you learn about the history of these organizations. These are REFORM jails and prisons. Rikers was considered a “model penitentiary”! brooklynrail.org/2020/02/fiel...

I think it’s just a tipping point thing. When you have your first exposure to, say, 50 horrifying stories about cops and prisons, you think the system can be fixed. 500? You’re thinking it has to be seriously downsized. By the time you read about horror #50,000? Burn it down.

Montrealers rally around family of man who died after police operation in Saint-Michel | CBC News Two events were held Sunday to call attention to the deaths of three people after police intervention - two of which took place in Montreal. One of those people was 29-year-old Abisay Cruz whose death...

Rest in power, Abisay Cruz, and all those killed by police officers here in Montreal and anywhere else. We can never accept the death of a human being as a justifiable consequence of policing; I remain disgusted with the SPVM, the BEI, and with the city.
