On the one hand, I think pretty much everyone agrees that Starmer's explanations were extremely implausible and that dumping on your subordinates when you fuck up is bad.
OTOH it's bad that the Civil Service is at war with Number 10 over it.
Even more than Starmer, Labour needs to ditch Glasman.
Those who stand not for belief or principle, but instead only for tribal affiliation, are untrustworthy, dangerous, and can NEVER be more than temporary allies of convenience.
