The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Strasbourg on Tuesday, 21 October, preceded by a seminar on press freedom.

EP then decides in plenary by a simple majority vote and the President of the European Parliament informs the MEP and the national authority of Parliament’s decision.
All immunity cases are treated individually and confidentially.
