Selling your best players and not replacing them well sounds eerily familiar.

How has Gabriel got away with that? I don't understand the rules anymore. #MCIARS
My hamstring lasted all of 35 minutes. I think I'll stay retired this time. Ouch.
Can I let you in on a secret? I hate Morgan Gibbs-White. Feels like his name has become a curse.
On my way to play football for the first time in a decade, desperately hoping that my hamstrings don't explode and fully expecting to be done in within 15 minutes.
Playing at Marine, gracing the same pitch where Carlos Vinicius made his name.
What a massive gut punch that was yesterday. I didn't see the game as I was at a 40th but had a running commentary from my family WhatsApp. The second that equaliser went in, my heart sank.
I do feel confident that if De Zerbi stays next season, we'll have a decent chance of coming back up. #COYS
That feels like the end.
On my way to a 40th birthday party, so probably going to be missing the Spurs game. If by some miracle we actually win, I'll have to make not watching a habit. #COYS
Off to Sweden for work next week and as I'm in the area, going to see Elfsborg vs Djurgarden.
Should make a pleasant change from watching Spurs.
I think Bentancur and/or Bissouma need to play. Maybe Spence or Porro could do a job on the wing if need be? Spence played well off the left in a UCL game from what I remember.
This game is so much fun. Such a contrast with the Premier 'set pieces' League. #BAYRMA
Eurgh. Wrong hashtag. #BAYRMA
Well, this is going to be good isn't it. #FCBRMA
Yeah, the misfiring forward line no doubt makes the defensive errors feel more important. That Palace red card/penalty was such a key moment though. De Zerbi was right in that winning just one game totally changes the mood, and that game could've been it. From 1-0 up to losing 1-3.
we did that, van de Ven proceeded to get sent off and concede a penalty.
On top of everything else this season, individual errors like that have been so costly. Romero and van de Ven, along with Vicario probably the biggest culprits.
Definitely. I'm often fairly pessimistic about Spurs, but I somehow still never imagined it getting so bad. Now I don't want to allow myself to gather any hope at all, having been repeatedly disappointed.
We need luck, and it's thus far deserted us. We also need to get ahead in a game. Last time
Plenty of key moments behind that we'll probably be looking back on for years as well.
Would love to maintain hope but we built up Newcastle at home, Palace at home, Forest at home, Sunderland away and no doubt others, and we've failed at every turn.
Not sure if that should've been a red card or not for Barca. Kounde is very fast and was covering. Difficult decision for sure. #ATMBAR
Got to be someone that's not played all that much. Byfield?
This Atletico v Barca game is so frantic. I don't actually subscribe to the view that Spurs players aren't trying, but it definitely doesn't look like they try *this* hard. The speed of the play at times is amazing. Obviously, having highly technical passers helps.
Everyone's guessing Xavi, so I'm going to go Kudus just to mix it up a bit.
Van de Ven, Romero and Xavi Simons will probably push hardest. Maddison, Kulusevski and maybe Gallagher might stick around. I think a lot will depend on who we get good offers for and the wage situation.
It might make sense if it was the first time it'd happened. The reality is we've been yo-yoing between styles for the last decade. We really are the stupidest club.
I guess it all depends on whether they will kick up a stink. From the limited exposure we get to players, they don't seem the type, but they certainly wouldn't be the first to surprise us in this regard. If Liverpool tap up Gray, for example, it'll be a big test of his loyalty.
I wonder if we might loan out some of the better players in the hope that we come straight back up. Vuskovic wants to play with his brother. Xavi will probably have loan interest but not many willing to pay big money.
Depends how desperate the owners are for money.
Sadly, I think Gray, Bergvall and Vuskovic will look to leave. They've all already been linked with big moves and their agents will be licking their lips.
We may be able to retain a couple of the others like Spence, Richarlison or Solanke. It all depends on who's interested and what they'll pay.
It is starting to look like we either should have sacked Frank much earlier, or not until summer. I do think we'd have more points on the board if we'd stuck with him, even though we were rubbish. At least we used to score from corners.
He did yeah, but I'm not sure Preston will be able to afford the £7m, and presumably the player gets final say in any case. He might prefer to stay at Spurs if there's a chance of first team football?
I think Richy, Tel, Xavi, Bergvall, Gray, Bissouma and Vuskovic will all leave either permanently or on loan. I'd love to be wrong, but I think they will push for moves.
Devine might return?
