Chiitan loves all transgender people.
I've received a lot of criticism for expressing my support, but what's more important is that all transgender people live happy lives.
Blue Sky cannot display long posts, so please read this post if you'd like.

it feels natural to me that it forms a partially eval'd closure rather than a lazy context?

would feel strange to be forced to lift out a fully supplied argument into its own expression to avoid re-running it each time `x` is supplied

In a strict language, definitely B I think?

IIUC that B is where arguments are eval'ed before application

The DAL is a crucial part of the #TezosX roadmap.

Notably, the incentives only kick in once the 66% participation threshold is met, and there is no slashing for now.

GitHub - rust-lang/miri: An interpreter for Rust's mid-level intermediate representation An interpreter for Rust's mid-level intermediate representation - rust-lang/miri

Definitely check out Miri if you haven't before!

As easy as:
- cargo +nightly component add miri
- cargo +nightly miri test

...though you might want to go make a coffee while you wait :)

Finally tried out Miri for the first time today - immediately found a safety issue on deallocation!

Was related to allocation alignment mismatch to Box's requirements.

Some safety comments in the std-lib docs make more sense to me now!

And, bonus, learned about [repr(align)] 🀩

Yesterday evening it took Tezos 16s to make a seamless upgrade without forking.
- Blocktime went from 10 to 8 seconds
- Adaptive Issuance curve was adjusted to lower issuance faster
- Delegator rewards cut from 50% to 33% compared to stakers.
- Bakers stake capacity raised from 5x to 9x
