& thank you sm for sharing the lost birds project, it's lovely. the extinct birds display at natural history museum resonated deeply with me as well, definitely a little melancholic to see how institutions now memorialise these species 💕🦤

it's so sweet and sad that there's a similar extinct little bird, incidentally the mamo also had bits of yellow plumage that were sought after :'^)

"Summer of the Wondrous Salamander" by @ivyteas.bsky.social is a weird, whimsical masterpiece with attention to detail and smart, quirky choices on every page (in layouts, lettering and typography in particular). I never knew what was about to happen next and loved every bit of it. It's SO GOOD

SBCF is such a labour of love towards comics by Zainab at shortbox to put together every year. it's been surreal even getting to be a part this year, and catching a glimpse of the effort that goes into it all.

last couple days to grab my comic at sbcf! I really recommend looking through everyone else's comics on the website though, i've been reading sbcf for years and the variety & depth of comics created is always incredible to witness. (1/2)
