Compared to how it was before, this is genuinely an AMAZING remake. legit went from bottom 3 to #1 fav dq

I think having played the og 2 really helped my opinion of 2's remake.

Before, 2 just felt very standard. Nothing too special but not bad. Still liked but def in my bottom 3 DQ games

Now? it is absolutely PHENOMENAL seeing how much it improved. Your party now having actual personalities- 1/2

"What... are you wearing!?" Lei asks, bewildered. "Uh..." Masaru says, pausing to think about it. "...A tracksuit?"

Panel 5: Lei and Masaru are in frame, Lei is pointing questioningly at Masaru's outfit, Masaru looks unphased. "Isn't it kinda... Gaudy for training?" Lei asks "Nah, bright colors are good for jogging in the city! Makes you easier to see so you don't get run over." Masaru replies "Run over? Wait--" Lei continues -- Panel 6: "-You don't mean we're gonna be training in the street!? With those... Horseless Carriages?" Lei says, pointing to the street now, looking concerned now. "Just jogging next to them 'til we get to the Park!" Masaru cheerily adds. "And those are called "Cars"."

No dialogue, Lei and Masaru are jogging in the park now, the blooming sakura a nice backdrop against the blue sky. Masaru looks forward, determined. Lei looks at Masaru, still a little unsure.
