Either way. You won't be compensated by an "illegal tax" that corporations benefited from.
There's a general belief that if your name is on the debt, at the time of divorce, that debt isn't your responsibility. But that's not true, and that also applies to pre-marital assets.

The Treasury Dept. will be handling the collection of student loans. They are far more aggressive than traditional debt collectors and have powers no private debt collector has.
Parents need to think twice as co-signers on student loan debt for their children!

I think we are several decades away from what they claim it will do. And when companies see that less employees equals less revenue overall, they will need to rethink.

There will be tariff checks issued, not for you, but for the businesses that paid the tariffs. The consumer will get nothing, as I predicted when I posed the question of what happens when SCOTUS rules the tariffs are illegal.
I was critical of tariffs from day 1. Some argued that tariffs aren't passed to the consumer; but we now know that consumers paid at least $1k more this year b/c of the tariffs.
But the bigger issue is that I always said there would be no tariff checks. I was wrong!!!!
ChatGPT, draft a lawsuit for me.
Like I've always said, it trickles down, just not what you want.
You get a extra credit today for the good question.

How did Alabama & Georgia respond? By borrowing billions that tax payers will foot the bill for bc I doubt those corporations will more in taxes than the average household.
