The folks who campaign on consequences and tearing down all his evil shit will win
A digital illustration of Godzilla silhouetted against a red and orange fire-colored background with his back spines all glowing blue as he blasts nuclear fire at whomever you would most like to have nuclear fire blasted at. Go ahead and make a wish. Jagged lettering on Godzilla’s back and shoulder, also glowing blue, reads ‘Maybe it will happen today’
Listening to the album So Much (for) Stardust from Fall Out Boy on repeat because I can't get these songs out of my head. Great album.
Not the Treeussy
Two ducks standing on top of the roof of a house.
They did, in fact, come back!
Flying Beagle by Himiko Kikuchi is the greatest jazz album ever made.
I hope somebody primaries the heck out of Jefferies and Schumer. In the meantime, send nuts so they’ll have some. Worst opposition ever against a criming crimer who crimes every day.
We had a pair of ducks last year that liked to chill on the roof of the house behind ours and would jump down into our backyard sometimes. I hope they come back again.
Social media apps as Lord of the Rings characters, a thread:
Twitter: Twitter is Gollum. Began as a normal halfling. Overexposure to evil left it thin and stretched and bitter.
Voted in my local elections today!
You should also vote whenever possible!
Some people say small stuff like school board elections don’t matter, but they’re literally the ones deciding how the next generation learns!
25th amendment. Impeachment. I will support any avenue to remove Donald Trump from office. We cannot leave this man in charge of America’s nuclear weapons as he threatens to end an entire civilization. And Congress must not fund this reckless administration.

Small victory here but at least Trump will be remembered as the worst president.
Re: last repost, we *could* switch entirely to renewables instead of spending ungodly sums and losing lives over oil, but the fossil fuel industry has so thoroughly corrupted politics that we can’t do the sensible thing
The horrors persist...
But so do I...
Monday
What the actual fuck.
The PS5 pro launched at $699.99.
That's a $200 price increase from launch. This is ridiculous.
Even though it's Friday, the horrors don't cease.
I swear, the constant shoving "ai" down my throat at work is going to be the final straw that gets me to quit the software development/tech industry.
Leave me alone! Just let me work! Stop asking how I'm using ai every day.
I just want to work in a library surrounded by books.
When I started to question religion, I went to my family for support.
My brother locked me in my room and yelled at me that I just needed to pray and read the bible more.
Got sexually assaulted by a group of kids at church. Church covered it up because their parents gave a lot of money to the church.
Watched all these people go to church on Sundays and act like they're good, but then be complete pieces of shit the other 6 days of the week.
Markwayne Mullin and Tommy Tuberville doing cable hits all day to see who's the dumbest Republican senator
It's no wonder we're 50th in education when this is one of our senators.
An idiot, and a coward. Pathetic.
Can confirm. Resident Evil Requiem is fantastic. If you're a fan of the RE games, you'll definitely enjoy it.
I swear. They see a perfectly functional feature that needs zero changes and just start frothing at the mouth thinking of all the ways they can redesign it unnecessarily.
Atlassian/Jira "stop making your UI/functionality worse" challenge
Difficulty Level: Impossible
Well it only took 10 hours of playtime, but Final Fantasy 7 Remake has finally started to hook me. Was kind of hesitant with all the cutscenes and ridiculousness in the first few chapters, but it's gotten good.
Never played a FF game before this. Other than starting FF6 and playing for an hour.
I've been exceedingly excited for this game so it makes me happy to see a review like this.
Feels like I've been riding the burnout train HARD for the last year. But somehow my brain just keeps kicking the crash out can down the road. Like it's waiting for the perfect minor inconvenience to be the proverbial straw that broke the camels back, and then I'll snap.
