Agreed. We can see the 'mid and lower' prem teams spending 40, 50, 60 million on a player. Doubt that level can be replicated anywhere across europe outside the very top teams.

I wonder, if this PL strength persists, other european leagues may look to uefa for some sort of rebalancing. Across all european comps, Prem teams are starting to dominate.
They may be thinking Owen Beck had a future longer term, but i think he is injured right now.
Excellent choice! Quite possibly my favourite film. Are you watching the directors cut?
🚨BOOM! Now over 90,000 signatures!
The Petition calling for by-elections to be called automatically when MPs defect to another party is getting so close to the 100,000 needed.
Let’s keep going!

#Afcon is nuts. What a mad ending to normal time!
The Stay at Home Wilburys
I've survived dozens of raptures (depending on which prophet is talking BS at the time)!
Endo, Nyoni, Leoni, Mamadashvili, Rio.
Wouldn't be surprised to see all those start this Tuesday.
Im seeing a positive, in that this is positively shite.
Tuchel ball is seriously dull. Im not that arsed about international football, but i like to watch a game. This is poor #EngAnd
Muscle memory, in more ways than one.
My heart rate could do with a couple of games that are a tad easier to watch, though!
Gaudy and trashy. It truly looks ridiculous.
It used to be Woolworths that hit the Xmas stuff first. That's when, as a kid, I knew the school summer holidays were nearly over!
Thought the same, he cleaned out the spurs lad
Doesn't exactly allow for the 'just cause' part of article 17 though.
I reckon Digger Barnes inspired a generation of Liverpool fans. The man was a magician.
We're fortunate in that he's been able to go to 4 or 5 matches and has seen the power of the club as a whole and the scale of the fanbase. But there's no real escaping the cult of the player that has emerged since Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe etc that seems to be what younger fans latch onto.
Brentford are asking for £50+ million, so going by the logic allowed for Liverpool that their offer of £120 million for Isak is derisory as it's not at Newcastles asking price. Btw, £40million for Wissa is too high imo
I have this worry with my youngest, a big football fan who's been following the LFC academy teams for a long time, telling me all about Nyoni and Ngumoha. His new home shirt even has Nyoni on the back, don't want that ruined for him.
Can we assume the media and all the pundits will have a go at Newcastle now for making a derisory offer?
Chester FC kick off against Curzon Ashton
A slightly less stressful evening at the football with the lad. #UpTheSeals #ChesterFC
I was thinking earlier about weighing in with my opinion on that ridiculous take, but I agree with you. It must be engagement farming, as it doesn't make sense any other way.
Fairly soon, the metric on how 'foreign' players will be judged on their ability to cope with the Premier league will be 'oh yes, but can they do it on a cold, rainy November night at the Emirates'.
#Hoofball #SetPieceFc
I actually preferred this to the original.
I bet Newcastle wished they had a centre forward the pitch right now...
A truly messed up film! The fist up the arse before emerging out the lads face, striking images!
