Oh, I 100% understand and agree. It just goes to show how toxic fanbases can get once they get a little spoiled. Canes have made the playoffs back to back for the past 7 seasons (since 2018-2019). We literally have nothing to complain about lol
Canes fans collapse the moment there’s a single loss. Not all of us are that bad, but they act like the season is decided upon 3-5 games and that it’s not an 82-game season or something. ATM, people are ranting about Svech trade rumors and Nikishin being scratched last game
While I love a good portion of our community/fans, there’s a larger portion who simply overreacts. They’re the “hardcore hockey fans” who think they’re somehow in the same leagues as GMs and Head Coaches just because they look at PuckPedia and hear the same superstar names on NHL Network.

The semi-good news is that @wademinter.com has actually created a few bots that echo/mirror that posts on X/Twitter for the Canes. But yeah, a lot of the "immediate" information is still going to be on the other platform still.
In all fairness, this is just projected roster based on the whim of two reporters (who historically have been wrong). That said, I wouldn’t be **too** shocked not to see Jarvy on the final list - now in another 4 years, that’s a totally different story.
With all this "Nordiques vs Whalers" coming up, it would probably be the **best** time for the Hurricanes to release a modern (Fanatics template) navy blue Whalers sweater/jersey. The whites are great for road games, but the navy blues were some of the best jerseys ever designed. #RaiseUp

It’s wild that there’s even a single person believing that the rumors of McLeod being signed has anything to do with Warf leaving — let alone multiple. It’s clear that there’s a business perspective that he and Dundon didn’t agree on, and there’s a lot of stuff going on in the Canes Org as a whole.
It isn't a game if PK isn't dropping his stick, or throwing it, or chucking it, or losing it... But he did pretty decently this afternoon for a preseason game.
The whole point is that everyone was really being ridiculous about it. There wasn’t any “whataboutism” at play here; it was just outlined that it’s absurdly easy to get anyone’s address and it’s illegal and wrong to post it as means to encourage harassment.
The TL;DR (ignoring nuance) is that obtaining information isn’t illegal - it’s how you use it. Intent to harass or harm will make it illegal, distributing it for the same intent can (in most cases) be as well. There’s a lot of generalization and nuance in my response, so check out the link. 🤔
Absolutely. It’s not a hard task. Personally, I was shocked that they posted a house Tulsky purchased in another state since it was the second that shows up. But to me it sounds like they were just trolling while making a point. Not a great point, imho, but that’s different to how easy it is.
What in the world is the world coming to? In the modern era, finding out addresses is *ridiculously simple* if they aren't purchased through a shell company/LLC, but fans shouldn't be out here suggesting anything violent. As for the fans reporting it to the FBI, that's equally unhinged nonsense.
Some truly unhinged stuff going down on X for #RaiseUp fans. Someone soft-doxxed Tulsky out of frustration over the Canada Hockey 5 possibly being signed to the Hurricanes. Then most of the response was hyper-diligence of reporting her to the FBI, acting like she was a domestic terrorist...
Hilariously good game. Wouldn’t sleep on it if you’re a fan of card-based “battles” and quasi-ridiculous company management games. Reminds me of some of the side businesses you’d see in the Yakuza series (for pretty obvious and not so obvious reasons).
Finally happened - gave up on TikTok. It became a bit of a cesspool after recent events and the algorithm just became more aggressively political. Hadn’t seen a hockey, video game, or funny video since last week - no amount of blocks and “not interested” fixed it.
Let’s not forget that he got booed so hard that he left soon after… lol
It’s even more absurd when you take in consideration that Hockey Fights Cancer is *technically* a “Hockey is for Everyone” night (it’s inclusive to the banner). Not saying HFC doesn’t deserve its own night - just that it speaks volumes of the Canes org to use the banner to claim inclusivity.
Disappointing. It’s clear that the Hurricanes organization has finally reached the point of ignoring Pride Night altogether. Here we are in 2025 where the LBGTIA community is already being ostracized by sycophants and brainwashed loons but the Hurricanes just “all-lives” them like it’s nbd.
