This isn't The Art of the Deal.
It's insider trading with a bad comb-over.

Step 1: Tank the Market, Scare the Non-Millionaires
Step 2: Let the Aristocrats Feast
Step 3: Flip, but say ‘Winning’
Step 4: Pretend None of This Ever Happened & Get Your Media Dregs To Do The Same

Rinse, Enrich, Repeat.

To the world:
We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom.

Your American allies.

It’s horrifying. I think most either are in Fox World and not seeing what we are seeing, and it’s inexcusable

Masked officers whisk away Tufts student from sidewalk, video shows The widely circulated video of Turkish doctoral student Rumeysa Ozturk’s arrest in the Boston area has sent shock waves throughout the academic community.

Abducted in broad daylight for an op-ed in Tufts’ newspaper, is a children & media scholar I know. She’s not a terror sympathizer and it should terrify us all that this happened to her.
This isn’t about combating antisemitism—it is much more sinister and dangerous

Democrats should hold 435 town halls this weekend. The ones in Republican districts hosted by local Dems or nonpartisan local officials or even ex-Republicans, with everyone, Democrats and independents and Republicans, invited.

Digital inequalities and U.S. undergraduate outcomes over the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated major and rapid changes to undergraduate student learning conditions, but the longer-term consequences of those changes have yet to be fully understood. It is really hard to watch people willfully tear down an infrastructure that allowed us to double lifespans, drastically reduce poverty, and become one of the richest countries in the world.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're sending their best. They're sending firefighters to help solve American problems. They're bringing fire fighting uniforms. They're bringing fire fighting equipment. They're bringing kittens down from trees. And all, I assume, are good people."

Opinion | Democracy in 2024 was noisy and chaotic. It was also resilient. Democracy in 2024 worked as it always has. It was messy and noisy and produced muddled results. .

This analysis concludes that in 2024 “voters […] opted for greater freedom and closer ties with the West and rejected attempts at intimidation, manipulation and disinformation”.

Largely true. But the same “West” made a number of largely opposite choices.

Can we just admit that we NEED immigrants for our economy to run, from agriculture to high tech?

We’re a goddamn nation of immigrants, aren’t we? Let’s be proud of our immigrant heritage!

Last year, Lake Forest, Illinois displayed a menorah for the 8 nights of Hanukkah.

This year, the city has decided to only display the menorah for a few hours.

Removing the menorah, a symbol of hope and resilience, sends a bad message: that Jewishness is something to be hidden away.
