Following part 1, part of this comic begins with the grim reaper, a little embarrassed, asking Santa Claus where he is headed after this.

Santa replies that since he no longer visits homes on Christmas Eve, he hosts a rather impressive party instead.

Santa talks about the party, and we see a sketch of it behind a panel with Santa and Death talking. He invites Death to join, and mentions that the party is a lively affair with elves, ghosts, old winter spirits, and mrs Claus, of course.

Santa continues to talk, in narration boxes over a sketch of him in a more traditional Santa suit, surrounded by children. Santa says that while he is lucky to be here with friends and family, every Christmas Eve, all he can think of is the past.
