Thought frame one (especially) might interest you. That said - you've probably got them all π
There should be a lot more love for this song. One of *the* great British pop songs of our times.
That'll be the real Ashes series then!
The record label for the b-side of Blue Oyster Cult's Don't Fear the Reaper single - it is R.U. Ready 2 Rock.
Apologies in advance - but somebody definitely needed to reply with this. So...
And mine...
Well the painting is lovely. But I'm wondering whether it's an onion squash rather than a pumpkin. If it is, they are one of the nicest varieties . Just slice it into segments, dowse them in a smidgen of oil and roast them at 220Β°C for 35 minutes. Failing that, stick it on the compost heap π
Thank-you so much for replying. I am very happy I now know the whole song. xxx
One of my favourite songs is a beautiful piece by #bettieserveert called Spine (a B-side on the What Friends? single). I've played it hundreds of times but never once have I managed to work out the very first line of the lyrics - can anyone help? Thanks. x

I fucking loved Newcastle before this. Now I love it even more.
I'm genuinely interested in how you get on. I find the whole system impenetrable and unintuitive. But perhaps I'm just getting old.
Well for me - and I've very limited experience, I reckon that's about as expert as it gets - relaxed sheep, no nicks, fleece off in one pass, and a smooth, close finish. Unless someone can tell me different, I make it a really good job.
Sooo bad for my sleep pattern.
A bottle of Tullamore Dew - a very pleasant whiskey from lovely Ireland.
It's going to be a difficult summer - you might want to consider -
So, no double entendre or innuendo at all then πππππ
Got mine - arrived on Saturday as I was on my way to see Blue Oyster Cult at the London Palladium so I will be very much enjoying Stereolab over the coming week.
Oh the irony! Both players ex Man Utd.
Yeah - agree. Pocket is a great song. With some great lines and a great arrangement - I love the 'overhead there's a rumble/747' lyric. I caught the band on all the UK dates of that tour and they played it every night from memory.
Although Heaven Forbid is rather unfairly overlooked from their later catalogue. Damaged still gives me the goosebumps when I hear it.
.
Oh yeah!!!!
OK guys - if you are doing YouTube 'reaction' videos on the first time you're hearing a song - it's probably advisable not to sing along with the words to the first verse. Just saying!

Classic!
Iβve been in or around politics for over a half-century now.
Iβve watched as corporations and the super-rich flooded D.C. with campaign cash and ransacked our system.
It won't be easy, but hereβs how we break the corporate oligarchy and return power to the people.
This is Marley. He does not simply eat his hamburgers. He inhales them. 13/10

Brilliant cross-field ball for the assist too.
Controversial opinion for the day #3
James Dewar is the most underrated rock vocalist of his generation. Extraordinary voice. Not too shabby on the bass either.
see: Bridge of Sighs and esp Long Misty Days.
This is a fun simple composition with the winding river providing the visual path to a richly colored sky. The contrast between those rich saturated colors of the sky and the deep dark greens of the marsh create a lot of drama and impact.
Done. Let me know what you think?

Controversial opinion of the day #2: CDs would have had more consumer longevity if they'd been sold in good quality carboard (mini vinyl style) sleeves than increasingly unpopular, space-inefficient, ugly, plastic 'jewel' cases.
*Jewel* FFS!!!
