Barb Gajewski grew up on a lake that discovered invasive Eurasian water milfoil, an aquatic invasive plant, in 2001. She was fresh out of college when the lake owners hired her to track the plant's spread and hand-pull any invasive milfoil she found -- launching her career in lake management. (1/2)
