A lot of people are libertarians and economically somewhere to the right of Thatcher and don't realise it

Well, you're missed.
Much more sensible than me though, and probably happier. Actually, well done.
You and everyone else. And that is fine and good and well. I'm one to talk.
At least @showerabsolute.bsky.social had the sense to fully migrate. Not like us gluttons for (a different kind of) punishment.
You're all moonlighting over here. Where do you find the time?
Is this a Bluesky on the streets, Twitter in the sheets type of deal?
(Yes I know I'm here too)
For some reason I am reminded of the baffling conversation I once had with a KGB officer in Siberia who was convinced that Thought for the Day had to be coded instructions for Western intelligence agents.
“Otherwise it would just be nonsense and the BBC would not broadcast nonsense!”
Within one minute of visiting BS and seeing the people who reply to Becky I am again questioning the "it's a nicer place" narrative.
And they call us the Nazis....
Social media really exposes you to some incredibly broken brains. Keep thinking of the poster I saw who was so outraged by racist Britain they were going to move to France. I’m afraid have some bad news about le canard au lait frappé
Caught up with #DoctorWho earlier
Some of my friends have gone bananas about the ruling. "But, b-b...but.... look at what Scientific American said."
Such quiet nobility.
Now blocked by both people I replied to, in case you wanted an idea of the strength of their character.
They could have put up an excuse, or acknowledged the problem and looked into it a bit more deeply, or just ignored me.
No. Blocked straight away. What a bigot I am.
Oh look! Found some more from yesterday. Why it's almost as if this is very easy and there were lots of them...
A stile in the middle of a field, surrounded by no hedging or fence.
I am often asked “What, if push came to shove, is your favourite stile you have climbed over on a walk in the countryside?” and it’s always an easy question to answer, since there can only ever be one winner.
*applause*
Blocked by the OP inside two minutes. Wow, this is like the good old days of Twitter.
Clearly there's a "wide shots of the protest only, no close-ups" policy. Shame.
Signs painted by the trans rights campaigner Sarah Jane Baker, including one that reads "KILL JK ROWLING"
Two SNP MPs smiling in front of a sign that reads "Decapitate TERFs"
Sign-writing is a popular and pithy pastime in the trans rights community.
Here are some older ones.
One is written by a convicted kidnapper who claims to have eaten their own testicles, the other is next to some smiling SNP MPs.
A second sign reading "The only good TERF is a dead TERF" from yesterday's trans rights protests.
...and just in case anyone thinks the "**** TERF" one is an outlier...
A sign from yesterday's trans rights protests that reads "Bring back witch burning...JK"
A sign from yesterday's trans rights protests that reads "I love pissing on TERFs"
A sign from yesterday's trans rights protests that reads "We piss where we want"
A sign from yesterday's trans rights protests that reads "The only good TERF is a dead TERF"
@katbrownwrites.com
There were some very interesting signs there.
Yes. I grumbled about this but on reflection, saying "it gives ammo to the far right" probably seems to them like a safer climbdown than "You're nutters. Complete nutters. Enabling you was wrong."
Incredible article in today's Guardian.
I'm really sorry Den.
Also they can only use hard flours like durum wheat.
Pasta flour, aye.
Carol K would look lovely wearing a bin bag in a skip, but yes.
