I am someone who grew up with technology, and work on it.
Many of us want technology to be inclusive, safe, private, and sustainable.
That reality can exist, and deplatforming these fascists is the way to do it.
wait tell me that already exists

Photo of the South of Scotland regional ballot paper for the Scottish election on 7th May 2026. Added text identifies the "INDEPENDENT GREEN VOICE" as "NOT the Green Party" and "SCOTTISH GREEN PARTY" as "The actual Green Party".
Anyone who received their postal ballot today in the South of Scotland region, please be aware that "Independent Green Voice", which appears second on the list on the peach regional ballot paper, is NOT the Scottish Green Party. This is in fact a deliberate vote spoiling attempt by right-wingers.
ah, the pigeon wicker man

like every time i notice how the github website is so.... lackadaisical about being eventually consistent it's... i mean it's not because of ai generated code but is it an entirely different phenomenon? just a creeping lack of rigour?
ha that sounds like a challenge :)
i strongly suspect though that whatever i am i'm fairly impervious to diagnosis!
i am not diagnosed with adhd BUT i am spending this entire week clearing up all the little piles of things around my flat that have been there in some cases over two years (including covering the entirety of the kitchen table) so, you know, got that going for me
to the tune of nightclubbing
it at least used to be the case that some of the off licences around there would store stuff - a look on bounce shows there are some for about a fiver a day and small bags are an option. obvs it's also a matter of what you trust!
evidently :(
i currently cannot concentrate because somebody is flooding the slide with baguettes and also the north korean flag
omg my dad is sooo into electrocuting insects, absolutely can't get enough of the bzzzzzaaapppp
are people two years old
he needs to get a sideline DESTROYING them for twenty five quid
trying to watch a tech conference talk and it's unwatchable because the organisers allowed everyone in the room to flood the slides with those rising emojis so it's a total sensory nightmare
has to be AI slop
oh MY
that main story again: useless non-starter political party is useless non-starter political party. now the weather
Here is a really neat cover of a C textbook from 1999. A quote from the preface: "That's the way C is - a bottomless pit."
yes that's often been a thing in scotland when i've rented! especially for slightly fancier places where it's managed by an agency
it's a pain!
