“I am a student from Gaza. I am trying to learn amidst the ashes. And I dream of becoming a voice for history - not a forgotten victim of it,”

The most annoying lie Chomsky spread about the Yugoslav war is "Nato aggression". In 1992 the Pope negotiated a deal with the Serbs that an Italian air force plane could evacuate the children of the besieged city of Sarajevo. The Serbs then shot down the plane. So the Serbs shot at NATO first.

😲 Wow, what a way to start the weekend!

🥹 An *intact* #Etruscan tomb, still sealed after 2,600 years has been discovered at the necropolis of #SanGiuliano in #BarbaranoRomano.

Dress it up in progressive language but you're cheating yourself by not doing the work. This is the worst thing about AI: millions of students refusing to learn, taking zero interest in the world around them, empty in mind and heart. Your punishment is the person you will become.

Three years of hard work. Earned my degree in Archaeology, a dream my younger self barely dared imagine. My studies took me to magical places in Greece, deepened my love for the past, and forged friendships I’ll always treasure. Onto my next adventure, moving to Japan in August.

During my recent trip home to Melbourne I had the opportunity to view some amazing ancient Chinese bronze vessels from the Shang and Zhou dynasties (ca. 1600-256 BC).

These objects are a part of the collection held within the National Gallery of Victoria.

Well worth a visit.

Nothing brings people together like the vigilante style assassination of a billionaire who got rich off the backs of the sick and dying.
Nice to see some unity in these here trying times.

It’s rough, 33 here and I predict this will be my trajectory. Thinking of getting ahead and just giving up now to spare the heartache and avoid the types you’ve mentioned here.
