I drew Best Girl, Elizabeth from Persona 3
I know the art isnt great, but this is my first time drawing in 9 years, and my first time on a digital medium
Ill probs try to make this a weekly thing where I spend a full day drawing on stream
Live on twitch streaming and drawing

Lost both my girls within a year
It sucks.
Sally died last year playing with my mom's dog. Fell wrong and broke her neck.
Disney's death was slower, I wish I could've saved her.
It sucks, but I've grown up all my life with pets. Sadly im no stranger to wishing them goodbye
My dog just died
Attacked by another dog, she bled out
I couldnt bring my poor girl to the vet fast enough
They couldnt save her
Rest in piece, Disney
There was an old portal control archetype I can't remember
It was like 5 years ago during the beginning of lockdown
I found it super fun, but shadow control was more consistent
And discard blood was also fun
Would anybody tune in if I started to stream Shadowverse on the regular?
I'd be thinking 1-2 hours every day after work (5:30-7:30 am CST, Mon-Thurs)
And probs longer play sessions on Thurs or Fri evenings, depending on the week
Yesterday, Day 3 of playing New Shadowverse (Worlds Beyond)
I haven't least one of every card already
And I have playsets of almost the entirety of Abysscraft
Was never a Haven't player
My mains back in old Shadowverse was Shadow Control and Blood Midrange
So Abyss literally being the combination of the two plays into my comfort zone very well
I also dabbled in Portal, but Cerberus has always been my girl. I have her leader rn because I got lucky
On my 3rd day of playing new Shadowverse
Im an Abyss Midrange player
Guys.
There is a problem.
Im hooked back on Shadowverse
Im so jealous of that Amano Magical Adept
Im trying to secure one to helm a commander deck

Hey hey
Long time no review
I decided to do something a bit different this time, I wrote out my review of the @manamoonart.bsky.social Vertec V1 on a doc so it would be much easier to share across platforms
I'm gonna look for better ways to handle this later

Reyhan, Last of the Abzan
Look fam, someone says brew, I start spouting mtg cards
Let's move on to Pia
Without consistent energy generation, she actually leans hard on vehicles and artifact creatures
The benefit of generating energy is the consistent threat of higher and higher value end-game threats with evasion, turning into a tempo deck
Let's start with the True Energy deck, Saheeli
By consistently generating energy from casting artificer and artifacts, she can lean hard on consistent energy generation. But she also has a flex angle of cloning any permanent for offensive pressure or additional utility
As such, this brings me to Aetherdift, where we see two new notable Energy commanders, each one falls into each category
Saheeli, Radiant Creator as the "True Energy" commander and Pia Nalaar, Chief Mechanic as the "Pseudo Energy" deck
Satya, on the other hand, predominantly acts as a Helm of the Host in the command zone. Copying creatures while incidentally giving you the option to keep token copies if you have the energy to spare. Arguably, keeping the tokens isn't strong as you can just combo or benefit off of the sacrifice
Two fantastic examples to show the difference here is between Dr. Madison Li and Satya Aetherflux Genius
Li acts as both a generator and outlet for Energy, acting as a one-piece engine for consistently churning the resource. As such, the whole deck wants to lean in on this and act in the same way
As such, I like to differentiate between two different types of Energy decks.
"True Energy" where Energy is the primary driver for the whole deck, and is a resource interacted with throughout the deck
And "Pseudo Energy" decks that incidentally use Energy while driving another game plan
This leads towards interesting play patterns of stockpiling energy for future use, as well as interactions with various other cards to benefit from the resource gain.
Different colors also enjoy different ways to stockpile or pad this resource as well
Energy exists as counters placed on a player, much like Experience counters.
Unlike Experience counters though, Energy is designed to be a parallel to mana. A resource meant to be generated and spent.
As Energy exists as counters on players, it lasts between phases and turns
As I see it right now, we have 8 viable Energy commanders that all have their own strengths and weaknesses, and I wish to discuss all of them
But before I go into detail on the commanders, I want to discuss Energy itself as a mechanic, and what separates "True Energy" from "Pseudo Energy" decks
Alright, with Aetherdrift behind me and my hype for our return to Kaladesh/Avishkar finally coming down a bit
I want to talk about an archetype/deck that is slowly but surely climbing to being one of my favorites of all time
Energy
And no, not Boros Energy, I don't play Modern anymore
