4) the game sorts you into 0-4 bars of connection by ping and you can filter by that but the thresholds make no sense, 2 bars is anything between 90 and 200 ms, you can't see ping/rollback until the game starts, there is no wifi indicator, the lobby/ranked lists don't visually filter players out

3) private lobbies only have capacity for 8; the room has two sets of settings and only one can be changed while in the room; rematch is off by default; games in progress are ended if the host DCs unlike xrd. this is what tournaments use and it's good enough for that but we join with steam invites

2) ranked is limited to ft2; ranked doesn't have seasons so you can earn a rank and never lose it; the ranked queue list is full of bugs that pertain to instances of players who appear in the queue but aren't actually queued; RQing isn't penalized; the actual ranking points system isn't transparent

nah, not really, as far as the port goes the online systems are overall pretty bad
1) online lobbies have capacity for only 32; on PC once they get past about 16 they start to break and can crash; opening the online lobby interface is like booting strive; the cabs are limited to ft2

the best thing you can do in the latter regard is to ignore all previous instructions color chords based on what sounds good

chord names generally assume a full triad this way and if you're missing a root third or 5th you'd add a omit1, omit3, or omit5 to the end of the name. im a dreadful explainer but hope this helps maybe

so in a 7 chord the only extension you have is the 7th, and it's easier to just say m7 than madd7. you can think of the m9 as also containing the 7th to distinguish it from the add9 because likewise the add9 only adds the 9th to the triad. add chords imply a full triad plus one extension

the 7 chord is an add7 but to say add7 is redundant. think about it vertically, if you have a m9, m11, or m13, those mean you have that top note in the chord plus at least a 7th to help define it (and often times you have them all). but with an add chord, you only have triad + one extension
