Forklift X-Games in the parking lot!

Yep! It depends on the lifting capacity of the forklift. This one in particular can lift ~8,000lbs and so it weighs around 12,500lbs for the counterweight.

Some of the biggest forklifts out there can easily weigh 20,000 - 140,000lbs!

@judah.bsky.social and I went shopping for a fork lift today! We decided on a very nice used Kamatsu with only around a thousand hours on it, 8000lbs capacity, propane, and long forks.

Shop #2 to #3 was a ~1,000ft move, #3 to #4 is about a 30 mile drive and is the furthest.

We still need to finish out house move this coming weekend, too, which has dragged out for nearly 2 years. Nearly done though!

Yes, ideally need a wire with a 1M resistor bonded to ground (such as on the USB jack shells) that can be in contact with your skin. This would eliminate the issue entirely.

If would be nice if they could make the foam face gaskets out of a VERY SLIGHTLY conductive medium (+1M ohm) with exposed ground points near the magnets on the headset. That would help continuously drain any excess charge build-up on your body to ground and prevent this.
