The hoos lived in Aus once, but that was before I was born - it was the inspiration for my name though!

The first two pics are from where we used to live - the US South! Winters aren't near cold enough for snow, but cool & dry.
Third pic was where we lived briefly last year - US Rockies! Warm one day, snowy the next!

My hoos have fond memories of summery Aussie xmases! I never got to see 'em because I didn't exist yet when they lived there!!!

Still - I only ever saw one 'white xmas', and it wasn't very much white! This year was chilly but green!!!
