August 31, 2025 Open Letter to World Leaders: As you may be aware, there are unconscionable crimes against humanity taking place in the United States under the guise of immigration deportation. People, including women and children, are being abducted by armed, masked agents without warrants or identification, in highly militarized operations. These abductions lead to disappearances or imprisonment in overcrowded, inhumane detention centers without due process as guaranteed by our Constitution. Some individuals who are torn from their families, have been sent to cruel and unsuitable prisons in foreign countries with no way of locating them. Our government leaders will not intervene to stop these crimes against humanity. The majority of U.S. Senators and Congressmen, as well as those in President Trump's cabinet are complicit in these so-called deportations. Furthermore, Chief Justice John Roberts and the majority of Justices in the Supreme Court are Republican appointees, unwilling to rule against this. Sadly, in June of this year the Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration can continue to deport immigrants to foreign countries. I appeal to our world leaders to present a united front by forming international coalitions, and if possible, supporting investigations and prosecutions of these abuses. This will raise awareness globally and in the U.S. making it difficult for the Trump administration to ignore. Advocating for the end of these deportations in the UN, G7, G20 and the World Trade Organization will put pressure on the Trump administration. Funding for Immigration Enforcement and Boarder Security in President Trump's reconciliation bill, passed on July 3rd has risen to $170B, its highest ever. According to the Trump administration, 140 thousand individuals have been abducted as of April and nearly 200,000 so far this year. This number will only increase substantially. August 21, 2025 Dear Ms. Schuster Thank you for your letter addressed to Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen dated July 27, 2025, in which you express your concern about the current immigration policy of the United States of America. Like you, the Federal President is following the debate and developments in the immigration policy of the US administration. The allegations of human rights violations in the context of the ordered arrests and deportations are concerning to him. Therefore, we have contacted the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA), which is responsible for Austria's relations with the USA. We have been assured by them that developments in the USA and the entire region are being monitored very closely. The promotion and protection of human rights is a priority of Austrian foreign policy. Austria therefore advocates, at both bilateral and multilateral levels, for the human rights of those affected to be upheld. Rule of law procedures, access to adequate legal representation, and humane conditions in detention facilities are central principles that must be adhered to. Austria will continue to address this issue with international partners in direct bilateral exchanges and within the framework of work in multilateral bodies, as the commitment to respect for human rights – particularly the protection of especially vulnerable groups – remains a central concern of Austrian foreign policy. In this sense, the BMEIA is in contact with the relevant authorities and has clearly communicated the Austrian position, which is based on adherence to internationally recognized legal norms and particularly on the protection of universal human rights. Inflation is coming down according to Trump. Went to the Dollar Tree yesterday and the prices went from $1.25 to $1.50 - a 20% increase! Trump also said he reduced drug prices by 1500%. Between the lying and the dementia, he’s got to go!

Whatever one’s view on Iran, Trump just got us into a war without any involvement by Congress.

This is consistent with his general lawlessness — secret police, deportations without due process, illegally impounding appropriated funds, etc.

He absolutely should be removed from office.
