General question: Does anyone remember Arcroto/DreamingWanderer? An excellent artist who got me interested in animating using TVPaint and in simplifying characters. Here's a collab we did based on a husky photo years ago. I've not seen them in a while. I'm hoping they're ok!

Also worth noting that some reservations appear to be getting through even without an obvious confirmation. Several parts of the site are "catching up" on the status of the bookings. You should get an email (eventually) if your booking is confirmed but it might take awhile.

After an hour a refresh might be warranted. If you know browser dev console stuff you can check the network tab to see if it's still checking the server.

If not, that's long enough to wait to be worth a retry.

I believe you've got a saved reservation. It's just not showing up on some parts of the page, possibly because of how overloaded the waitwhile queue mgmt/booking api is. Inspecting the traffic shows it should be saving these under your myFWA ID.

Yes. The waitwhile backend is struggling to keep up with saving the bookings, and lots of people are being tossed out after their temporary hold on a slot times out.

Once you click a number on that page, it tries continuously, so don't refresh. Same with the next page where it'll say "saving."

I got thru. The waitwhile platform is taking a long time to save reservations so lots of people are stuck in the booking queue. It should let you through eventually though may take multiple tries.

It looks like the vendor "waitwhile" is the source of the problem. Not FWA's pages.

I got far enough that I was asked for how many in my party and then it tried to throw a recaptcha at me but lunched itself in the process.

I finally sold mine.

I appreciate your perspective and your thoughtfulness of sharing it. These two kinds of upset are very different for me. I can personally manage my own immense feelings of "sadness" upset, but I must forcefully push away "anger" upset because it is destructive. I would much rather be sad than angry.
